A new journey
A few weeks ago, I made a decision. I decided to part ways with Weight Watchers, and investigate a total body health and nutrition program called Yoli. I felt like I was not thriving in my Weight Watchers journey, and all because of me. I needed some more structure.
I set an appointment to meet with an acquaintance at the time, who I knew was a Yoli consultant. As soon as I heard about it, I knew it was 100% me. The seller? Having your body be in a neutral state, without inflammation. Having your body in this state decreases drastically illness, and creates an environment that things like illness and cancer cannot thrive in. Not to mention having it in its ideal state helps the weight and inches fall off!
So, here I am a week later enjoying all the benefits. After a 4 day detox from sugar (remembering that feeling makes me not crave sugar but instead appreciate the natural sugars in life), I feel like a million dollars. I have no more pain in my hip (though I have a labral tear), I have lost 6.5 inches, 7 pounds and so much 'puffiness.' I am eating whole, clean foods with real fat and I am far from hungry. I do not eat grain or gluten frequently (which is ideal for my thyroid condition). I am nourishing my body in the way it has craved for a really long time. And a lot of the benefits (inches and weight lost) are effortless. It has been amazing.
I am so so blessed to be able to share this with my friends and family, and I hope that my vulnerability and transparency (even if I begin to struggle) is appreciated each step of the way. I do not share barely clothed pictures to boast, but rather inspire. It's real, and anyone can have it if they choose.
Don't ever be afraid to write a new story or have a new beginning. This life is about journeys, and you can choose a new one each and every day if your heart so desires. I have found where my health journey belongs, and I am forever grateful for that.
